Volunteer Opportunities
We pride ourselves on the empowerment and encouragement of our volunteers. Volunteers are the life-blood
of non-profit organizations. Here are some areas where we need your assistance.
E VENT TEAM LEADERS
Work under the direction of our Event Producer to plan, research, and implement all the tasks and duties for the events produced by Animal Based Charities. Most work can be done at your home via telephone and computer except being onsite at the
events.
THRIFT STORE STAFF
Merchandise inventory, pricing and stocking shelves. Flexible hours. Personable self-starters are a plus. Some light lifting required.
EVENT PRODUCTION
Set up event tables, chairs and signage Greet guests, work the administation table, assist with the prize drawings and keep track of the adoptions at each event.
ABC FEEDS
A program which gives people-in-need pet food for their pets. ABC FEEDS is committed that all pets are well fed. Jobs include inventory, stocking shelves and filling food containers.
MISC DUTIES
Spontaneous tasks are needed each day. Tasks include store organization, cleaning, errands or anything that is necessary that may arise during the course of the day.
